#オタギャル　もう終わったんじゃん…　見ると元気出したね！
I really appreciated Ota-gals this season! (Girls can't be kind to Otaku!?) It was a very good surprise! (I hope Otaku-kun will never choose or choose both 🫢)

3 color pixel art of a bottle with a flaming rag in the end, in a somewhat 1-bit style. the bottle is done with white, the flames are orange, and the background is a dark desaturated purple.

Y'know, I really haven't shared my Bōsōzoku Launch in a while, and I feel like that's necessary again. XD

Launch is absolutely the quintessential Japanese biker gal, and I really wanted to acknowledge that with this screenshot redraw I did of her. Plus, I'll always love Dragonball!

Wonderful commission from the GOAT @adambrycethomas.bsky.social , super fast and also read my mind to pick a perfect pose and vibe! Really love Beats expression and angle here. Thank you so much!

#BeatART #OC #commission
Beat stands in a fighting pose, her metal bat in one hand and a dented business end in the other. Her foot stamps forward as she leans into concentration. The wind is blowing hard and wraps her coat around her body and through her legs, the sleeves flying away. Her eyes have an intense stare, and you can tell she isn't playing around. This fights for real. The City upholds its rules through a security force much like a policing organization but with larger numbers to cover the large jurisdiction. While some may be against the pseudo-paramilitary "All-Monitors" responsible for "enforcement" of "the law," many argue for their continued presence, citing that all incidents since its formation have ended in non-lethal outcomes for either party involved. While many students who join the All-Monitor Force come in and out of service with good intentions (and perks that come with an elite position), there are small cells of "bad apples" throughout the force which hide in plain sight. Clashing with the Student Body Clubs and organizations may happen often, sometimes causing power struggles between city factions. These "Bad Apples" will try and swoop in for the goods, using their authority for personal gain. They might do as they please... though if you mess with someone you better be sure they don't bite back. Beat has a history with the All-Monitors, and something tells you that it's deeper than the number of petty charges accrued over the years.

This my OC, Beat!

She's a tomboy and inspired by 70s/80s Japanese delinquents like the Sukeban and Bancho. Loyal, headstrong, and a little stubborn, she likes fighting and always aims for the top!

Design and Art was done by the cool @antares_topaz
I'll be dropping more+alt text with #BeatART !
A character sheet showing the design of Beat. She has brown skin, short black hair which curves a bit upward and yellow eyes. A bandage is on her nose and she has a small fang which sometimes shows when she smiles. Posed with a hand on her hip and her other holding her metal bat by its pommel. The bat has a dent towards the top and and is stained with something that looks a little too fresh. Beat is dressed in a traditional red and black Japanese school uniform top with a red necktie which stops right above her belly. She is wearing fingerless black gloves and black jeans, fastened with a white sash as a belt. She wears converse shoes mostly everywhere, since in her words, "they're just comfortable". Draping over her shoulders is a long older style Gakuran jacket, dark dark blue on the outside with darker red on the inner layer. The jacket has two gold shoulder pads with bolts raised on them and a gold ring through the right side of her flared collar. On the back, the kanji for "Wild and Free" is seen written vertically in gold lettering. Similar to Bosozoku style of the Japanese biker gangs. A full back view of the jacket is to the far right of the image On her head sits her prized Gakuran hat, a keepsake from [REDACTED]. Black and trimmed with gold with a metal in the center, she keeps it as clean and safe as she can. A back view is seen with her jacket off, showing that the school uniform is sleeveless. A image of Beat with her shirt removed is seen to the right, with her having an annoyed face. She usually forgoes Bras and sticks to chest wraps since she finds it easier and more practical for everyday. below this, she is seen looking a little crazed and battle hungry, eager to rise to a challenge just presented. More details in the coming posts!
