Part 2 of our Infectiousness and Transmission series🧪

The LCASS captures airborne TB bacteria in a liquid, allowing us to perform a range of laboratory tests. Together with the ACI, which separates particles by size, these tools help us better understand how TB spreads through the air.

National Science Month reminds us that science, technology and innovation are for everyone. 🧪

Since TB is airborne, understanding the tiny particles it travels in helps us learn how it spreads.

Check out Part 1 of our Infectiousness and Transmission series.

Every great scientist starts with the basics 🧪

The 2026 #GenerationScience Programme allowed students to gain hands-on experience with one of the most fundamental laboratory skills: accurate pipetting. Proper pipetting techniques are essential for producing reliable and reproducible research.

Where do you call home? 🌍

This Africa Day, we asked our CLIME team…We come from everywhere. And every place we come from shapes how we show up for people with TB - with urgency, with care, and with a deep understanding of what’s at stake.

Freedom day is more than a moment in history, it’s what people can access today.
Knowledge. Opportunity. Justice. Healthcare. Dignity.

These gains must be protected and expanded for all.
Freedom isn’t finished — the work continues.
