I feel like xenoblade 1 did a better job att making me care about background characters I have like, one or two side quests with, than XVI with a whole gang of npcs i frequently interact with.
The old lady that sells stuff is cool as hell tho

Yeah, XVI is not a bad game at all and the hate towards it is so forced (also Clive dear lord, did we ever create a hotter video game character ?) The Bahamut fight is absolute cinema, but overall the game is very cookie cutter and far from my favorite FF for sure

I don't mind the esthetics of the hud, now that I'm playing through the first games, I think I get where the inspo is from but dear LORD the interruption of boss battles is aggravating.
They can never make me hate XV ! This game has so much heart and love into it !

Yeah I really wish we could get closer to the people from the hideout at least, really makes me care for our group of rebels, y'know

XVI feels overall more fleshed out, or at least more well rounded, than XV, but I found it kinda lacked the heart XV had. Clive really makes up for it. Also I hate those stats screens you get at the end of bosses, they interrupt cutscenes and break the momentum so bad x.x

Yeah I tend to agree, Clive and Jill and some others are really good but we don't really get to know them due to the circumstances, and we dont feel close to the people from the hideout even though we should, and the bad guys are... eh

I think most of the difficulty comes from ennemies with more HP and hitting harder. I thought the check asked for more hits ?

As far as I know, all FF have lighter moments and honestly I think they contribute to make things sadder by contrast. But XVI just feels bleak as hell at times and, though I love Clive, we dont really know him beyond his goals and his guilt.

Oof, so it's rough even in normal then. XVI is not particularly hard, but some checks are really tough. I like to hunt for trophies and one of them asked to beat leviathan in hardest mode so. Yeah that took a while to do.

Oui, je sais bien que la collection va etre réédité, je parle surtout d'une réimpression des tomes déjà existants de Xxxholic Rei, pour ceux qui ont qq tomes mais pas tous car ils sont tres TRÈS difficiles à trouver (comme le tome 2). J'ai déjà la série, je ne veux pas que mes Rei soient différents.

Huh, that's interesting, that means the Canon name is in the code. I didn't consider they would put something there, since the canon name comes from the manga adaptation, I thought that name was exclusively chosen for the manga, not for the game itself
