I hate being seen as someone who can't tolerate criticism of things they love because that's not the case and it's not a healthy mindset I support. But getting a call form inside the house about something so beautifully rare being interpreted in such bad faith is depressing to say the least.

You know at some point I feel like people just cannot handle when things are actually good because they got so used to engaging with slop I really think this is an actual issue people have and when you read something in the most uncharitable mindset possible it shows and it is ugly

This is a bit of a departure from my usual artstyle, tried leaning into shigenori soejima's signature high contrast lineart style and it was definitely a fun practice. Colors tried evoking the unmatched cutscenes from P3fes because they were genuinely formative for me.
