Why continue to platform this self-aggrandizing idiot? People have studied his prediction accuracy and shown that he’s right less than 20% of the time—and even that is generous, since some predictions are obvious from established trends. www.clearerthinking.org/post/how-goo...

Reporters should have realized he wasn’t on board because annoying sounds and noxious odors were surprisingly absent.

Let’s just replace the title Senator with “Sucker.” At least on the R side of the aisle.

Sure, Elon, just like all the things you told us that your companies would be doing by now. The man is a case study in delusions of grandeur, yet the media continues to present these fawning profiles because he’s clickbait.

Now, now, you know these things are only important when it directly affects them.

I get the point, but still there’s this: he didn’t get the law passed, and that takes us to this terrible moment for Dreamers. No participation trophies for politicians.

And there was the moment to repudiate the agreement and expose Trump, but instead he cowed. I wouldn’t trust Paul Weiss to get me out of a parking ticket.

Wonderful news—the Times may start to be readable again.

Well, to be fair, it is protected by the First Amendment, and the mayor’s office is exactly right. That said, it’a deeply offensive at many levels and should have been protested loudly. Which it was, and it was removed accordingly. Which is the way it’s supposed to work.

Not to mention the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty, to which Iran is also a signatory, and UN resolutions to the same effect.

He’s right, if the R party of the 1970s was the R party of today. So he’s really making a comment about how bad the R party has become, with no standards, no patriotism, no decency at all. As usual, the point he’s making the opposite of what he thinks he’s saying—idiot.

Proving my point in real time.

Also: your lede gets it entirely wrong when it calls the center a presidential library, when it is (rather explicitly) anything but that. Fact checkers? Capable writers?

I don’t need to read this article to be amused that it comes from a magazine published in a national that has a taxpayer-supported monarchy and retains vestiges of its empire, all of which are celebrated with pomp, vanity, and shamelessness.

But the fuckhead in the White House and his Speaker disagree. If Lawler really believes what he's saying, resign from the Republican Party and caucus with the Dems.

Wright, when asked how he felt about being the inspiration for The Fountainhead’s Howard Roark, quipped “I deny paternity and I refuse to marry the mother.”

The diet is not what makes him a noxious gas bag—though it adds a bit more color to the description.
