I see Tyranitar Armour with Blasoise Heavy Bowgun, Greninja Armour with Groudon Double Blades, Venusaur Armour with Garchomp Switch Axe, riding an Umbreon (in Skarmory Armour?) The only one I'm struggling with is the Armour with the Gyarados Great Sword

That's my issue, though. MJ's whole dynamic is, "I understand my partner." I get people going "it's not that bad," being invalidating because they don't get it. But that's not what's happening. Polly's spiralling, and MJ is trying to bring her out of it. So it gives me the sensation that ½

"Invalidating dysphoria" as a concept is just making my stomach turn. There are genuinely people out there going "I need to be allowed to hate myself"? I'm glad I'm laying down right now.

I remember an interview with Stan Lee where he expressly stated that the reason that Spidey is fully covered is so that anyone can see themselves under the mask. Spidey isn't a gender, or a race, or anything. Spidey is us.

I super like the idea of Felicia getting the ball rolling BECAUSE she calls P 'Spider', not 'Spider-Man' which made her feel surprisingly good for some reason.

She does come to like Pete more conpletely, but she's always come at him from the Spidey side. She also regularly just calls him 'Spider,' which I love.

Black Cat crushes specifically on Spider-Man, not Peter Parker. She's always been playfully curious about him and kind of wowed by his moral fortitude in the face of, well, everything, and it's given her a hope she hadn't had in years as a generational career thief. Spidey makes her anti-hero-y.
