I take a very pragmatic view.
My mum's possessions are things. They're not her, they don't contain her essence, they're not valuable relics to be revered.
I may retain the odd thing that has sentimental value but the rest could be used by someone else who needs it more.

If the Dems do seize control of at least one of the houses of Congress, I fully expect that when they begin to try and mitigate and legislate their way out of our national debacle, I have every faith that our national media will spare no effort to explain how they are doing it wrong.
