Of course, I recognise what I did do wrong (regardless of my inability to do anything else with the tools and environment I had at the time, especially as a 17 year old groomed by a 23 year old) because I still have the responsibility to fix it as someone who DOES have tools & support now to do so.
& when things like having to justify every goddamn boundary you try to lay before the abuser will listen to you becomes the required norm for any semblance of safety, you're going to develop some pretty maladaptive, toxic approaches to surviving that on a daily basis with your mind (kind of) intact.

Liberation movements built on conditional acceptance do not dismantle hierarchies. They reproduce them with better branding. The logic of deserving and undeserving, of credible and incredible, of safe to platform and dangerous to elevate, persists.
