Myth: you need a crypto wallet to use CommitProof.

Reality: Apple Pay works. Google Pay works. Credit card works. Your proof still lands on Cardano.
In 2025 a French court accepted a blockchain timestamp as evidence in a copyright case. Tribunal Judiciaire de Marseille, AZ Factory v. Valeria Moda. As part of an evidence bundle, not on its own. It stopped being theoretical.

Every proof comes with a file you can hand to a lawyer: transaction hash, fingerprint, salt, block number. Verifying it needs the file and the chain, not us. ⤵️

People think GitHub proves authorship. It doesn't. Commits can be rebased, amended, force pushed. Git history is a story you can rewrite.

Where do you keep proof that you had it first? Screenshot, email to self, git history, or nowhere at all.

For writers and artists sitting on unpublished work: you can timestamp it without publishing it. Your file is hashed locally, only the fingerprint lands on the Cardano blockchain. Anyone can verify the date, nobody can read the work.

Most people learn about Cardano from headlines. Almost nobody actually understands why the extended UTxO model is interesting.

A new free interactive course fixes that. From “what is a UTxO?” to building your first eUTxO transaction.

No serious VC will sign your NDA before a pitch meeting.

That's not rude. That's standard.

What you can do: timestamp your pitch deck, business plan, and key ideas before every meeting. If something leaks, you have proof you had it first.
