ME! I DO! I DO! Ooo pick me! Pick me for less stress and less anxiety! Well, let me remind you of the bad news, stress and changes will never be eliminated. Boooooo!!!!! But, less of it is better than being overwhelmed by it. It's better than your mind and body taking a beating and becoming ill because of it. Here is something I read today summed up with some my own observations.

Speaking of what you think, this blog post might be a Christian thing if you don't read all the way to the end. But WHO benefits from the way you think? What you think about life?Yourself? Others? Your situation? Who? Now here is where it can go religion or go spiritual; does God and you benefit from what you think or does the devil or the people that planted the seeds of what you think benefit?

In times of chaos an crisis in my life, I don't stop to think about what I need. I only think about what I should be doing to solve the crisis or remedy the chaos. I saved up some money for a specific thing. I was proud of myself and then I needed to use the money, and even more money to take care of business.

If I could wrap September up and put it in a box a with a bow, I would. Thank you, September for your shifting, rearranging, and asking for "the truth and nothing but the truth!" In fact, you demanded it. You were relentless in the poking and prodding through presenting conflict and pressing in on tender spots. Why would you do that?

Sometimes I wonder if what I am doing is all for nothing. (All for naught). I imagine we all feel this way at times whether you are a mother, father, activist, advocate, business owner, student, clergy or caregiver. What does it matter? And I can hear someone saying, because I have said it, "What are you doing it for?" Are you doing it for attention?

The "Ingathering" during the biblical times was celebrated in the autumn, this final harvest focused on gathering grapes, olives, and other late fruits at the end of the agricultural year. -United Church of God Yesterday, the Autumn Equinox began. The balancing of light and dark. I feel it's a reminder for us to begin to balance our work-play as with summer we can either be engrossed with too much of either one.

It's lonely here. Here in a world with a narcissist when those who were also targets have departed into the spiritual realm There is no one who believes you and no one you can talk to who understands because others make excuses and validation is dimmed Maybe even damned because how dare you call out the truth! You become the villain and they become the victim…

Does it seem everyone has an attitude or you are perceiving things the wrong way? Are YOU being perceived the wrong way? Mixed emotions and mixed signals and frazzled nerves do not mix.

We live in a world where overconsumption and overwhelm wants to become the normal way of existing. I noticed how many products a young lady had for "beauty" compared to how many things I had when I was in my 20s and even now. She has, I think, realized she doesn't need an entire pharmacy aisle of beauty products. And I have realized there are some new things I do need.

I was feeling moody yesterday. Moody mentally and I wasn't feeling well overall. I know at my last check up after salmonella poisoning, my doctor said I had "questionably" high calcium levels. So, I have laid off the vitamin D. Yet, I have been feeling a drop in my already mid to low energy. It seems as if it drops off drastically in the evening.

This is the time to make a decision about whatever you've been vacillating about. And it is time to put movement behind your goals, visions, and dreams that you have clarity about. Yet, the are sitting on the shelf of your consciousness collecting dust. Why? Because you are worried about what people may think or say? Are you in a stare off with fear?

You didn't ask but I am telling because it may help someone today or someday. I have dealt with grief and usually I deal with it the same way. Shock or numbness, delayed tears, and then moving forward. Well, when my eldest brother passed five years ago it was different. When another brother passed last year unexpectedly, it was different. When my dad passed away this April, it's been different.

Hear me out. What if you don't need another break from "life"? Disclaimer: I am not talking about caregivers because they need as many breaks as they can get or parents of young children. But they, too, may not need another break. Once again, hear me out. Life keeps giving you highs and lows back to back. So, you take a break.

It's one thing to read through your journals and to notice a pattern because not many read and reflect on old entries from a year ago. But when social media shows you your memories and you see posts, blogs, etc. with things that are happening around the same time each year, take note. Especially, if it's some kind of timing or pattern that you seem to want to be free of, vow to break free of yet, you find yourself still dealing with the same person or issue.

Get ready to swing from the chandelier as emotions run the spectrum this month. You will see the human behavior at its worse or oddest, and you will also see and experience love at its his highest. In fact, these emotions may run the gamut within you! One minute you may want to scream and yell and the next, you may feel like hugs and kisses to all.

Feeling powerful? Energetic? Maybe even courageous? You feel like you can win it all. You feel like you have had enough and you are about to do something rash. You are over it and you are about to let everyone know it. Maybe you finally have the nerve to conquer your fear about a certain thing. Well, it's August and the energy is certainly high.

I got sick my last day in Jamaica. I came home and thought I would get better. I wanted to make it to church Sunday because I had a guest speaker and it was her first time being there. I barely made it. I looked terrible and I felt that way. I called the weekend line for my doctor office and the doctor on call sent me to the Emergency Room.

When we arrived at the resort, they said, "Welcome, home!" and even before and after, we heard, "Welcome to Jamaica or Welcome to Montego Bay". I indeed felt welcomed and I enjoyed every day with family. I also enjoyed the time I had alone. The staff at our resort were exceptional and outside of the resort, the people I came into contact with were nice.
