150,000 have been killed in Sudan over the past two years.

Calls are increasing to sanction #MCFC owner & UAE deputy PM Sheikh Mansour over the UAE's alleged funding of the war.

UK government action would force a sale — this is the current situation:

Several thousand dollars for a World Cup game from a host that made explicit promises to FIFA of the most expensive ticket being not much more than $1000, and that was at the final. None of the $20 tickets materialised. FIFA now in cahoots with profiteers. What is the point of it?

As journalists working today many of us are taught to recognise disinformation when we see it and fight back against it.

Unfortunately there are some who willingly seek it out and put it on their front pages. A disgrace to the profession.

Just thought I’d revisit this one in light of the unsurprising latest developments, why have Arsenal, Arteta and Kroenke faced little to no scrutiny for this protecting this scumbag? - www.telegraph.co.uk/football/202...

Congratulations to Aida Youth Centre and all who supported them. Brilliant campaigning that put Infantino and Ceferin under serious pressure.

This is a symbolic victory amid a much wider tragedy that FIFA amd UEFA have done nothing to arrest.

This is astonishing, really

21 per cent of the Premier League’s history has had the City case hanging over it

That extends to 48.4 per cent if you go back to 2009-10 and the first season the charges relate to.

The ticket pricing for the World Cup is a disgrace. Making fans pay for all eight games up front is a disgrace.

The game is being taken from the people and sold back to them at an unforgivable premium.

World Cup ticket prices are hideously, unforgivably expensive
Watching your country play shouldn’t be the pursuit solely of the super-rich - this is so far beyond the pale it has to cause a line in the sand

How a new deal was ever in consideration under these circumstances is a mark on Arsenal, and that’s even before the public backing from his manager (“after everything he’s been through”) and decisions to make him the cover star of programmes and hero content on social channels while this was known.

Thomas Partey guilty of five counts of rape. FIVE.

The club knew and looked the other way. If we’re in anyway serious about football being inclusive or protecting women in society, Arteta should resign.
