Spotted Tenconi and his fascist Turning Point meatheads campaigning in Oxford today. They bravely left before the rest of us finished work and never bothered advertising the 'event' in advance. Presumably he didn't want a welcome party

Update: after 1600km and 16 days of pedalling, we made it! And we've raised over £4,500!

If this is the University leadership's line again, it is a lie – just like it was in May when they last decided to have their students arrested and beaten up. This is not how student protests should be handled, but it seems to be all Oxford knows how to do

Finally got around to looking at some great local history publications that I got for free at Hampshire Record Office in November. They were all published by the county or city councils. Can't imagine that happening now unfortunately, especially with the county council almost bankrupt
