Re: ATLA! That's reassuring, but omg what an unfortunate situation.
I have no clue why it was on that slide or who put it there, and every member of the crew I worked with is 100% against AI. Every aspect of the animation is handcrafted by real artists and I hope that people don’t use this slide as a reason to detract from how much love and labor went into the film.

If artists prices seem high to you, remember that freelancers have to pay for their own healthcare and stuff and we are working on a project basis, so we have no real job security (if that is even much of a thing anymore anyway)

Ai stole from us. it looks like our art because it is stealing OUR art. And now we get to add mitigation of ai blowback to our list of things to manage as artists. 🙃
