Skyrocketing health insurance costs for educators are the driving force behind budget cuts in Duluth and other districts across Minnesota. We need a statewide solution.

something strange and horrible and somehow fitting that we should have a very real threat of madman civilizational destruction at the very moment when we also have humans on the dark side of the moon taking pictures that show how small, precious, and beautiful our world and existence is

The biggest story in the world right now is that the president of the United States is a demented old man who takes pleasure in torturing and killing people and is committing crimes with impunity. And yet most legacy media outlets are too cowardly to tell it like it is.

It’s wild living in Minneapolis and seeing longtime friends in and on the news being absolute fucking legends every single day. Everyone performing tiny (and some huge) acts of heroism. I love to see it. www.theatlantic.com/politics/202...

Look this sucks but news outlets need to start realizing there's limited journalistic value in sitting in a room and letting a person behind a podium lie to you. You're not holding anyone to account when you do that.

It has been 60 years since Minnesota experienced as little crime as it did in 2024. For the vast majority of people alive in Minnesota last year was the safest of their lives.

Keep this in mind when politicians in upcoming elections attempt to use fear to get you to vote for them!

The thing about any social media site is that you do get to finish a sentence before you are interrupted which is not true in real life. Which makes it somewhat frustrating to talk in real life if you are used to this pretend world.
