After watching dozens of ICE raid/arrest videos it's clear how smartphones change the dynamics in these situations: It's why faces are covered, why operations are fast-in/fast-out, and in many cases why agents show restraint.

Very much agree with this. The Trump admin has purposefully attacked mail in voting from multiple directions and continues to make threats of law enforcement at voting sites… their goal is to create confusion, distrust, and fear… to suppress votes.
President Trump threatens to send 1,000 election monitors to polling places in November. Brennan Center's Sean Morales-Doyle says threats like these are "not about physically or legally interfering in the process, it's about generating fear, worry, concern," so voters don't go to the polls.

I have very high confidence that fallibilism is true and some level of confidence in the existence of a loving God, with an ineffable essence and uncreated light as part of its energies. I don't know about the incarnation, but I believe the four evangelists sincerely believed in it. I love the idea.

Why can't Elon Musk prioritize Earth, humans, and all sentient beings on Earth? Does he really believe that humans can live on Mars in the next 100 years?
