3D Artist
I used to read the Flight comics and even own a couple of the books. My brain keeps saying I remember this character but I really don't trust myself to actually remember anything from that long ago.

Still, this looks absolutely gorgeous!
'The Iron Giant,' 'Ratatouille,' and 'Spider-Verse' vet Michel Gagné spent 14 years hand-drawing the feature 'The Saga of Rex' almost entirely on his own.

Today, he unveiled the first trailer for the long-awaited project, set to be finished by year's end: www.cartoonbrew.com/feature-film...

And I was laid off.

It sucks losing a job. It sucks even more when it was a job you liked.

I have this book! It's a modest sized softcover book, but it's a fascinating account of the people and of the beautiful studio that was UPA. (I don't have access to it atm, so I don't know what volume # I have)
The book Inside UPA is a visual tour of one of the greatest animation studios of all time. With its author's permission, we've shared the whole thing online for free.

Our latest issue dives into the book and UPA's place in animation history: animationobsessive.substack.com/p/stepping-i...

Finally went for a walk on the trail after being lazy for the past couple of months. I forgot to take a commemorative picture because of how zoned out I was from finally being outside and in nature. 🌳🌷🐛

Aw man, I am so bad at posting. Instead, I'll just share cool things I come across..
We heard some folks get nervous about attending gaming events in person, for a lot of reasons. @heartimecia.bsky.social has some hard-earned advice for having fun, being respectful, and getting the most out of cons like GDC.
