His statement is actively denying being homophobic, do you need him to spell it out for you. A message of love and inclusivity isn’t exactly an attack on their community.

Yes, I do. The FA told him it was against the rules, not that it was disrespectful, so he didn’t back down. He gave a public statement. He said “It’s a message of love and truth as well and a message of inclusivity, so it speaks for itself.”
