A gaming goal for me this year is to play a bit more indie games. Usually end up playing 1-3 every year but that's not enough for 2026. So short sweet indie games I got all the time for now!

Still a bit unsure on what to play next, nothing truly grabbing my attention. Part of me is on a shinobi/samurai hot streak but more than up for anything. January usually a great month to try out new series/games so hoping to hear/find out about stuff not on my radar!

Ghost of Yotei has now been platinum'd! First platinum I bother with in a very long time and something I these days only go for when the game has earned it and Ghost of Yotei really really earned it and then some. What an amazing game!

DONE with Ghost of Yotei! Finished one final game for this year and it ends on a massive high! Ghost of Yotei is my kind of game. I live for good revenge stories, revenge as a narrative ALWAYS works for me and Yotei did it perfectly. Gameplay is perfect! Combat never got dull, neither did exploring!

Made some good progress in Yotei over the holidays, reached "Chapter 2" to give those that know where I'm at in the game something to go on. Some very nice twists in the story and.. my god is the new zone I'm at so very very beautiful!

More Yotei today, more to love! I can never tire of the exploration and gameplay of this game. It is perfect for me!

Some 6 hours into Ghost of Yotei and really enjoying it. The novelty of the first game obviously doesn't exist but what's left is still a masterfully crafted experience and I do love Atsu. Also a fan of the main drive in the narrative, always always going to love revenge as a story component!
