I think the primordial element of the culture war wrt Kei Trucks and Cybertrucks before any social concerns really is aesthetic. People who like Cybertrucks are tasteless & feel Keis are emasculating. People who like Keis correctly understands Toriyama characters drive them.

haven't watched it, just seeing from afar, but: the framing of a lack of reading comprehension &/or education failure isn't right. people want to believe in what they want to believe in. for instance: it's not a lack of reading comprehension that flat earthers or lesbian swift truthers exist
Then she had to do this anyway so uh let this be a lesson to artists, writers and assorted creators everywhere: subtext is nice but maybe just go ahead and make it into Text.
