Mayor Bass is pushing the state legislature to put into *state law* that cities with over 2 million people (only LA) cannot reduce the # of car lanes of a road that leads into a cemetery without mayoral approval.

E-bikes are SUCH a good last mile solution. They can open up so many more trips to transit, they can enable carless travel even in steep hills, and they’re insanely coat-effective compared to cars. We should be helping every person in this state who wants an ebike to get one.

Finally watched 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' this year and I suddenly understood everything about the two most pretentious guys from my middle/high school
So many tv shows and movies focus on characters' traumatic backstories, but the backstory that explains the personalities of half the guys I've ever met is just that they saw Scarface or The Big Lebowski in middle school.
