Not inspired to create in an environment where my work will be scraped instead of appreciated and not able to afford to create in the environment where a robot already has all the creative jobs that I am trained to do right. Where I'm judged against masters and the robot only has to do "good enough"
So my best understanding of the Nolan Odyssey is that it's like watching a glass blower use every technique in the book and years of discipline and skill to make the ugliest damn vase you ever saw. You know they're the best artisan at this work, but at what cost?

round of applause for the first thing I've drawn in 3 years. did it on pure memory and experience. I'll have to work back up to actual work I'm proud of, but I thought it was going to be worse

It's sorta funny to be looking up the histories of dog breeds, find something called "the Carolina Dog" and get met with the spitting image of a Mexican yellow dog, but people still swear the yellow dog isn't a real breed. Like babes, maybe they're ubiquitous cause they've always been there

24 Democrat candidates running in the CA gubernatorial primary, where in the top 2 of everyone, regardless of party, moves onto the second phase. 9 Republican candidates. 25 third party or no party affiliation candidates. The dems want to loose this race.

My sister has discovered a published omegaverse series and her first reaction was to immediately call me and tell me about it. I'm between seeing it as adorable and being horrified that they've truly escaped containment

I used to truly believe I so fully hated ABBA. Turns out I just hate Dancing Queen and that's the only radio safe song the normies know

that correspondence dinner was in danger of a real mass shooting as trump was when his ear got a little bloody that one time

God, if you're up there, please give me a new reason to celebrate the Ides of March. I can forgive the US Senate for a lot if they could just do this one thing please

What's so weird having been a Twilight girlie back before the movies came out and read all the books and then graduating high school and growing as a person, is knowing the answers to the shitpost questions from people who only saw the movies. I thought I had forgot them but nope still in there

About Kristy Noem: I won't police other people's crab raves, but mine are reserved for more, permanent, solutions

not me realizing on a random Wednesday is that Bioshock is Devo. I need a System Shock that does a soundscape like Bioshock, but instead of music from the 40's, it's all Devo. Or like Bioshock Infinite but all the covers are of Devo exclusively

I must be ace, because 3 different times trying to do a romance astarion play through I missed and romanced a completely different character entirely by accident. Romancing the fuck boi should not be this hard

So my dr wants me to do a sleep test for sleep apnea. Talking about it to much, I'm realizing how much of my life I was critically sleep deprived. I don't know what to do with this revelation or how to feel about it

I would like to submit, that everyone is telepathic. Speech, writing, art, and expression are the ways by which we are telepathic. The superpower of telepathy is actually perfect telepathy, but even if it was had we wouldn't know it. No one can navigate the mind of someone else without living in it

I hope people can become familiar with the concept of not putting all faith into a single service/platform again. It was ten years ago that Skype became inconvenient so people switched from using it. Even further back people manually opted to download and use other browsers than Internet Explorer.

Based on the performance in the debate, I think I like Tony Thurmond since it's not looking like Ramsey Robinson is getting on the ballot, but goddamn getting straightforward policy out of these candidates is like pulling teeth. Sure you're a nice person, but are you pro-abolishing ICE or not?

Don’t believe the claims about ‘kids safety’ behind the push for Online ID checks. They are and always have been about surveillance and censorship.

From an asexual: I promise you guys there's many levels of difference between the Hays Code and willingly watching R rated movies with your parents. There is so much middle ground to be had between those 2 extremes and we don't need to make up lies to talk about it

people still not getting that Epstien was a fixer. He knew everyone and had a hand in everything because he was a goffer. it goes as deep as snuff films and child trafficking, it's also getting micro transactions put in COD. He ruined everything, bc a client somewhere paid him to

somebody is paying a LOT of money to get these 4chan trained bots kicked into overdrive. Like I can't recognize flooding the zone after 15 sustained years of this shit. come with some new material at least, make me put in some effort when I filter comments

I'm finding it difficult to articulate just how angry I am finding I was right when I said the dems couldn't be trusted, because if they aren't directly complicit then they are too incompetent to offer protection or lasting security against the alt-right.

I know there's just so much context to get through, but it's looking like Epstien was behind gamergate. I spent a literal decade of my life thinking it was just a troll group that got co-opted. No, it was always astroturfing all the way down. It explains so much

I still don't understand why people rave about the Myrkul fight in bg3. It's not just hard, it's not just punishing, winning is entirely based on luck. Luck that the apostle glitches and doesn't take several turns and/or not all 4 incubation pods show up. And this is after the gd colony dungeon
