Citizenship in this country is a right earned under the law, and once granted, it is supposed to be secure. Turning citizenship into something that can be taken away by quotas and political targets shatters that promise.

I'm proud that my home state of Washington is marshaling help for LA. On the way now 45 engines, 11 trucks and more than 140 firefighters to hopefully contain the fire from reaching South of the Hollywood Hills, and rescue as needed.
