I feel like every multiplayer genre has been iterated on so much over 30 years that they're all mutated and weird.
"It's like a classic team deathmatch, with guns and power ups across the map, only the teams are three players and if you die once you have to find another server."

Agreed that's the main apeal.
But... it'd also be helpfull while DMing, as side source.
You draw dongs and honkers so nice is somewhat distracting while looking something on the go.
I mean, not complaining about having tiddies being shot on my face, don't get me wrong.
