I'm quite disappointed with the sewing bee this year. I don't think Anna was the best by any stretch, her transformation was awful, but from the way Patrick was talking about it I could pretty much guarantee at that point that she was going to win regardless of anything else. Beth should have won

Quite possibly one of my favourite ever #bbcproms. Philharmonia outrageously good as ever, the clarinet is such a beautiful sound here. Very different arrangement of Rhapsody in blue and the encore at the end of act one is one of the best ever, you have to stand up!

After a 6 month wait I finally had a visit about a disability finance grant. What a waste of time. They won't extend my bathroom so that I can get in it, they will turn my dining room at the other corner of the house into a bathroom instead. Seems I should be grateful and beggars can't be choosers.🤯

I've got a garden full of tits today. Great, blue, coal, and longtailed have been singing in the trees around the garden. Having a bird bath is what is attracting them I think, I'm filling it up every other day at the moment to keep them happy 😊

MS doesn't usually piss me off very much, but it does on a beautiful day like today. I miss being able to leave the house and going to do something like sitting in a beer garden or paddling in the sea. Stuck indoors with the radio for company doesn't quite cut it!

Reform must be shitting themselves about all this attention being paid to Mrs Cottrell. For a woman who was basically skint she's donated an awful lot of money to them. If her son hadn't already been convicted for fraud that would be suspicious anyway but it's even more suspect now!

@triscoe.bsky.social I'm not sure what skin colour has got to do with it. Organised religion is nothing but a scam. It should be outlawed. And it probably would be if they weren't so involved in politics and did not have so many billions in the bank.

Just had a response from @disabilitywales.bsky.social who are not campaigning about taxis. The Website is out of date.
They seem to effectively be a lobbying group, almost wholly funded by the Welsh government. With six staff paid on average £39k, and one over £60k.

I'm absolutely howling with laughter! That was quite possibly the worst ever episode of EastEnders I've ever seen 🤣 shockingly bad writing, dreadful acting, the most ridiculous story arc ever compressed into 30 minutes.

Just tried to have a quick look for a good restaurant in Cardiff for a birthday lunch, and thought I'd try tripadvisor. Won't be doing that again, the first dozen or so that I scrolled through I know to be pretty average. It's really disappointing.

Just finished watching widows Bay on Apple TV
If you're thinking about it…I wouldn't bother I didn't even realise it was meant to be a horror! It was incredibly predictable, I thought the humour just wasn't my sort of thing! They don't have many fails, but this is a definite failure. top 44.

This incredible oak ship’s figurehead is Germanic. Dating to the early C5th AD, you can just imagine these looming out of the sea mists as the first Germanic warriors, who went on to become the Anglo-Saxons, arrived on English shores after the Romans departed. Amazing find.
