The foot in the door
four frame comic. each frame has the text on top in white. first frame shows jk rowling. second frame shows trump and erdogan in suits doing thumbs up. third shows the istanbul landscape. fourth shows Talarico giving a speech in front of the podium. text reads: "protecting the children" has become the foot in the door of fascism. last weekend (sept. 12th-13th), under the pretense of "protecting the children," trump's turkish bestie erdogan led a massive anti-lgbtq crackdown. in an extraordinary esca- lation, legal proceedings were announced against 160 people. about 50 activists have been arrested. associations and homes have been ransacked across the country. so when we hear people who are supposedly our allies use the same language as erdogan, we owe it to our turkish siblings to call it out.

Eye-wateringly stupid defence from Rowling’s team here - ‘She does not support legal actions aimed at harming transgender people.’ - Really? So that £70,000 towards the bathroom ban was by accident? The JKR Women’s Fund was made by an impersonator? At least have the spine to admit you want us dead
J.K. Rowling’s rep responds to Lilly Wachowski’s accusation of ‘funding trans genocide’ (exclusive)

This is the world JK Rowling helped create. This is what Harry Potter is funding. All the legal challenges to enforce this regime are backed by Rowling and her Harry Potter money.

A trans man in the UK has been banned in the workplace restrooms after he was forced to use the women's restrooms to comply with the new EHRC guidance. The women complained because he is visibly male and so they told him he can't use any bathroom.
A screenshot of a Reddit post from the r/LegalAdviceUK subreddit by user Dijstraanon, titled "FtM transgender facing two different issues at work? England." The post text reads: "Brother in law is trans FtM and presents fully as a man. He's now facing an impossible situation at work with his employer telling him that due to recent legislation he must use the toilet of his birth gender. BUT several female colleagues have raised a grievance about him using their gendered toilet. His employer has told him that he cannot use the toilet while he is at work until they sort it out and cannot give him a timeframe to do so. They do [cut off] have disabled separate toilets. In the mean time one of his female colleagues has accused him of sexual harassment because he was used their gendered toilet. His menstrual cycle meant he needed to use the toilet. He's been with the employer for just over 5 years but only in this location for 18 months. The location is mainly male with just a handful of females, and his workshop only has male toilets. I do not know how to support him and as he's not in a union there is no one to turn too right now." The post has an orange "Comments Moderated" tag, 169 upvotes, and 134 comments.

Remember that weird Winnie the Pooh slasher flick? The same crew gave Pinocchio the same treatment with #PinocchioUnstrung. Is it any good? Well...click the link for the answer.

Based loosely on a real life incident, #TheTheftoftheCaravaggio is an art heist flick with a difference. But is it a good difference? Check the link to find out.

As a new Harry Potter trailer makes the rounds, it bears repeating that there’s no way to watch this show without supporting J.K. Rowling’s bigotry and the structural violence she’s inflicting on the trans community.
There is no ethical consumption of HBO’s Harry Potter series
You can’t without supporting Rowling’s transphobic bigotry.

True canadian values
four frame comic. first frame shows a Tim Hortons coffee shop from outside. second frame shows Harry Potter themed donuts. Third shows a loon swimming in a lake near some grass. last one shows someone with a dress that reads ''I don't care''. Text reads : at tim hortons, we care deeply about true canadian Values, such as Silent complicity in genocide. that's what inspired us to partner with famous anti-human rights campaigner jk rowling to offer you an all-harry potter menu. with each purchase of our mid-tier donuts, your money goes towards lining the pockets of someone who uses her wealth to fight trans rights and hurt queer communities around the planet. you don't personally need to hate lgbtq+ people to eat at tim hortons. you just need to not care enough about their rights, safety and well-being!

Little racy for my usual work, but there's nothing wrong with a little passion. If anything it feels overdue for me.

Dabbled in oils this time, with a portrait of Kali, Hindu goddess of time, death, destruction and more. Maximum fury, maximum power, but also maximum compassion, or so I'm told.

Two more #Jojo style doodles in #pen. One of which does use a reference from Araki's sketches. The real test is doing one as a painting sometime.

Rough past few days, being slandered at one end, trans-care stress on the other. Makes me wonder what the point is. Particularly when sleeping meds and vodka are comparatively cheaper.

Little #pencilsketch #portrait. Mostly just playing around. I'm pretty confident doing portraits like this. Colouring them in one way or the other is the real test.
