the same developer who told waterloo council last year that new builds large tower are not going to happen until they can make more money on them is now saying this water capacity crisis will scare away new investments. these people have no shame, they are profit seeking leeches.

developers are all "we have to keep building, your budgets depend on it" without ever acknowledging that it is their constant pressure and legal action to force the sprawl of their low-density, high profit neighbourhoods over wetlands, forests, and the moraine, that caused this.

the provincial government is also to blame by setting population targets while downloading services and squeezing budgets, but local politicians need to take accountability. maybe regional chair redman should face some accountability on this as under her "leadership" this crisis has materialized.
