On my way to sing at the Stirling Folk Club this evening.
Left York early this morning and have already passed through the Yorkshire Dales.
Soon in to Carlisle, then Glasgow.
Grab a bite and back on the rails for the final leg of today’s travel.

Coming into Newcastle… Almost there! 😊

Before I catch my train down to Irvine, a wee photo of one of my favourite sights in Glasgow. I always have to walk by to see of they still ’decorate’ it. And they never disappoint! Love it!!

While travelling to Nottingham i order to head out for my performance tonight the train was held up at the first station along the route and I noticed this graffiti. It did make me chuckle… 😁

And today I am on the second of four stages from Norwich to Taunton, Devon to sing for the folks at the Fivehead Folk Nights.
Although with the rail works going on my first leg of travel, my first, first class seat was, shall we say, a little less than desirable.

Had a wonderful night at the Norwich Folk Club last night. Great support acts from the regular club attendees and a welcoming audience.

A small walk from Euston station to the other Euston Underground, five stops later arrived at Liverpool St. Stn. And amidst all the fast food places I found this wonderful and very tasty curry spot. And with my dietary constraints it was perfect. Now the next train awaits. Safely as you go ~ Dan
