Yes. It also has settings for password protected videos/live streams with multiple passwords possible if you want to give out different users unique passwords.

Depending on your goals, I would possibly second the suggestion for PeerTube. If your goals line up with what it can provide, PeerTube could be a viable alternative worth looking at.

You will have to work exponentially harder to make any alternative platform work for you to get the same results in terms of monetization and viewership, if even physically possible. Changing that reality is going to take tremendous effort from multitudes which is unfortunately unlikely. (3/3)

an alternative that will meet your requirements and expectations for discoverability and monetization is only going to be an exercise in futility until you rethink entirely your goals for streaming. I love PeerTube. I also support streamers on Twitch. (2/?)

for discoverability and monetization, it’s awesome. You’re in total control of your data and content. You don’t have to worry about certain videos getting deleted (assuming you’re the admin).

I would love for more to use PeerTube (and Owncast). It is what it is though. 🙂 (8/8)
