Bad word choice (the last word - don’t do that) but I agree that they’ve definitely got something up their collective sleeve and will absolutely pull the rug in November.

Ugh that is infuriating. At what point do the parents go ‘hmm, looks like my kid is unduly bothering this person, maybe I should do something about that’? As increasingly appears to be the case these days, kids not being told ‘no’ often enough at home (if at all!) just causes more issues elsewhere.

To the men: we are not doing enough. Speak up. Interrogate your mates. ‘Oh it’s harmless banter’ no it’s not. That’s how it starts. It’s actually boundary-pushing. It’s seeing what you’ll let them away with. Don’t fall for it. Call a misogynist out. Call the ‘banter’ out. Let ‘em know it won’t wash.

The Cornell 7 incident is absolutely horrific. I stand unequivocally with ALL survivors. I will speak up. I will report. I will challenge. Not all men, sure. But always, ALWAYS a man. And often, as we have seen the last couple years, an institution or group behind him. Organised. Complicit. Enough.

As a survivor myself it is still horrific but not surprising how many men don’t consider rape as that big a deal and give no consideration to the physical and psychological impact it has upon its victims.

This guy said he would ‘smile and wave’ upon seeing a woman being gang-raped in a public car park because 47% of women voted for Trump. He literally said that. That is fucking abhorrent. I have reported his account and post.
