When I was with the Lookouts, Dolly and Carl came to the park one day, took one look at the clubhouse spread, and demanded we all get chicken and dumplings on her dime. She spent time with every person on the team (players and coaches) and refused to leave until we taught some Spanish swear words.

Latin players can't win. If they go down swinging it's "too aggressive, you can't walk off the island!" but if they're disciplined it's "you have committed the gravest sin imaginable, trusting a white man to do his job properly."
Actually it's a much greater "sin" to go down swinging at a pitch eight inches below the strike zone. No hitter worth their salt is going after that pitch in any scenario.
Lol everyone complaining about this is wrong. There is one unforgivable sin in baseball: When it's two outs, bottom 9, full count and the tying run is in scoring position, the batter CANNOT STRIKE OUT LOOKING. If the pitch is remotely close, you uncork it. Period. And that pitch was close.
