Falling Star is my sixth book, so I would hope I'd improve, but I actually think I have.
And it feels so weird saying that.

I find that I have to admit, and those of you know know me will know how hard it is for me to say this, that I think it is good. My ability to craft descriptive passages, weave conversation and write in general has come a long way since Wingless.

The 1st ep of An Appropriate Amount of Soup is now live. In the first ep we discuss the glacial pace of novel writing, the name John, becoming hermits and most importantly, Michael Kellichner's novel, "A Debt to the Dead".
Episode 2, in a fortnight, will feature David James' "Wingless".

No shade on the publishers, they've had some real garbage dumped on them, and they're doing the best they can. They are terrific people, but I need to try other avenues to get this out, as Book 3 is nearly finished.

All the main characters in my series are aro/ace, but they are also not exactly human (Angels trapped on Earth). They do have very loving sibling style relationships with the other celestials, but if Urban Fantasy isn't your thing you probably won't be interested. Book 1 out now, 2 & 3 out this year

I can then see the "liberals for blokes" people getting all upset they they feel ostracized and unwelcome in the "liberals for ladies" party.
And then I will laugh and laugh and laugh

Started writing book 3 of a series. Book 2 had a really good and powerful ending (according to my beta readers) that I absolutely hated. I couldn't leave my characters like that, so rather than do something else first as was planned, it's straight into writing the next book.
