7 years ago today – Innsbruck, Austria – my life changed. Nicol Matt and the 16 wonderful singers in the Chamber Choir of Europe gave birth to “Ave Maria,” my arrangement of a beautiful #Brahms Intermezzo. With deepest gratitude to all – never to be forgotten.

Today is #WorldRefugeeDay. One of Canada’s most celebrated leaders, Dr. Lotta Hitschmanova (1909-1990) was a refugee herself. Her life was dedicated to breaking down barriers between peoples. The song cries out for those in conflict to recognize the Universal Spirit that lies so deep within us all.

There's more than enough Hate in the world today, why don't we all choose Love for a change?

Here's the ending to my song, "Let's Toil for Love not Hate," with words by #EmilyDickinson.

Thx to Kari Turunen and the Vancouver Chamber Choir for this beautiful live recording.

For me, #Spring is all about #Birds, and #Allergies! But since I don’t write songs about allergies, here’s a #song about birds: “Let’s sing, it’s spring, when birds do ring, and bring great joy, to everything!”
Beautifully sung by the #VancouverChamberChoir led by Kari Turunen.
