I lived there for about a year. It was joked that the state mascot was the slug and people would also claim it rained twice the previous month, the first one lasting 12 days and the second 9 days. They sell more sunglasses than anywhere else. Reason is they hardly use them and lose them..

I 100% agree. It's like every afternoon we have the fantasy hour where Trump spouts nonsense, fantasies and lies for an hour and the press dutifully laps it up...

In Seattle you can open your windows without screens because there aren't a lot of flying bugs because of the climate.
