On avg of $1.25 (USD?), Kanopy could be very costly to a single library i.e. $500 would be about 400 plays (full plays or video starts...)
From Kanopy's website, under the heading "Discover why public libraries trust Kanopy for streaming media", it notes $1.25 average cost per play.
