The amount of Amazon workers relying on SNAP and Medicaid has nearly tripled since 2020. — while Amazon’s annual profits soared by over 550%.

It’s the same story everywhere: corporate profits are at record highs, while workers’ share of the economy is at a record low.

We must unrig the system.

Is there a Stanley McChrystal or a David Petraeus for Iran? A Colin Powell, Tommy Franks or Ray Odierno? The only military I hear about are the ones being fired or quitting. Hegseth and Trump can't be calling these shots, one a high school military school graduate and the other a TV entertainer.

Target paid its CEO $21.8M last year — 794x the median Target worker's pay of $27,506.

Target has also spent $13.9B on stock buybacks since 2019, while remaining among the largest employers of Medicaid and SNAP recipients in America.

This is what I mean by a rigged economy.

As a kid I was very fond of Wor Shu Op, Chinese Almond Duck, which was on the menu of most Cantonese restaurants. Today, Wo Hop has a faux version (fried - not right) but, other than that, it seems to have disappeared. Anyone know a place that serves it?
