It would cost £1 to renationalise Thames Water. We did this in 2019 for Corbyn's manifesto. 🙄 Thames Water is facing bankruptcy (again).

Over 100 MPs call for Thames Water to go into special administration.

What I really want to hear Burnham say is that awful, evil politicians have been fearmongering and weaponising the whole issue of immigration, in a way that causes everyone harm.

He doesn’t even need to mention that Starmer was one of them.

At our municipal grocery stores, New Yorkers will get a 30% discount on eggs, milk, chicken, produce and other everyday essentials.

The mask is coming off.

Andy Burnham used to support rent controls because "there was a significant crisis in the rental market"

Sorry, what? Apparently now renters are just fine?

Labour won't support renters properly.

The Green Party will.

Simons wasn’t born until the 1980s - & was brought up in Kent & Leics. He may have visited Liverpool but is poorly equipped to make judgements about life there (or anywhere in the North) when Thatcher’s policies took disastrous hold. Northern memories, meanwhile, are transgenerational & ineradicable

My own, highly unreliable feeling, is that Starmer’s premiership will be largely forgotten, merged in with Johnson, Truss and Sunak as a kind of ‘Brexit hangover’ period of history, characterised by delusion and xenophobia all around.
