A quiet life. I love nature, gardening, my piano and The Lake District. And cake.

When you find the perfect heart shaped leaf, bejewelled with raindrops. Nature therapy at its best. 🌿💚

Spending a few minutes making these on my nature walks is incredibly relaxing. Definitely time well spent. 🍂🍃

Appreciating the little things on my nature walk in the rain today. I love watching the seasons change, like turning the page in a book, anticipating the wonders of Autumn to come. 🍂🍁

For Alan and Rick Ford, who worked, knew and loved these lanes and this land more than I ever will.

Somewhere, under a beautiful tree on Back Lane, is my tribute.

Sending love to the Ford family and the farming community.

Hello fellow #TreeLovers!
🌳❤️. So did you know that "Komorebi" (木漏れ日) translates roughly to sunlight filtering through the leaves of #trees, describing the dappled, shifting patterns of light & shadow cast on the ground, as the sun shines through a canopy of branches.

Daisies in the lawn. I always try to leave the daisy patches unmown. Such pretty little flowers, and sweetly reminiscent of carefree days making daisy chains as a child.
