My daughter came home y'day & proudly told me she'd won me a bottle of beer at the school fête. Wonderful except a) this is Mead; and b) this is the Mead I donated to the school fête because it's been the cupboard for ages and I don't really drink alcohol any more.

It's all kicking off on Xhitter. Just popped over to look at something and all I see is complaints that Charlotte Proudman has accused the wrong person of "standing up for a judge" who made a complaint about her, and then failing to say sorry for the mistake.

Ever had a weird mags court result that seems to fly in the face of the evidence? Maybe this piece in the New Law Journal explains why - 12% of magistrates will convict if they are less than 80% sure of guilt while 31% need there to be absolutely no doubt whatsoever. Maybe training needs reviewing?!

Decided to have a little flick through the Epstein files. I noticed that a lot of the art work is redacted. Then I found this photo. Can't help wondering if they had some AI redact every female face and didn't bother checking if it got things right or not.

No wonder fly tipping is on the rise. I've an old microwave that needs a trip to the recycling centre. But, i have to book an appointment, give all my info: name, address, email, phone number, car: reg, make, model & colour. They'll also close early if it's busy 🤷♂️

A little too close? It's only at the end that they finally admit he was a violent football hooligan who has been banned from his own team's ground for decades because nobody wanted him there. All the papers are saying a "football fan" instead of "man who was banned from football for hooliganism".

The worst ones I've seen, and which should never have been allowed, are these giant boards on the Hammersmith flyover in London. I remember several times riding my motorbike over there at night completely blind because of the intense glow from them and their reflections in the rain on the floor.

Popped over to X and searched for "English Patriot". Only took a few seconds to start finding the fake accounts from English Patriots who aren't in England.
