I see people still throwing out the "I can't believe people think this game looks bad!" when talking about Wind Waker as if they've just time travelled from the day the first trailer dropped. No one has said that for like 20 years now.

Exactly this. I don't need yet another primer on the console that a game happens to have been released for, especially a "failed" console, if I'm just watching a video about that game.

The fast food place I work in opened my branch like half a year ago and there's a giant bit of writing on one of the walls that says "don't turn heads, stop trains" and I have no idea what that's meant to mean in relation to our place or to basically anything

Best part is that the name Mark is pronounced "Maaku" in Japanese so the name pun is that it's Akuma rearranged like Videl is with Devil. Toriyama put a lot of thought into stuff that sounds like it was made up on the spot.

To be fair it makes sense to assume it even if the dub hadn't tried to make it a thing. The series itself doesn't bring it up until quite late (when Videl tells Gohan "obviously you're that guy's son, no one has surnames anymore")
