I like that Sulaf's role makes room for mentoring. Working through a real problem together lets a younger colleague see what an experienced person notices, questions and checks before deciding. That part of the work deserves time on the schedule.

Going back for the road, not just the footage, is a good reason to repeat a route. Iron Mountain is the kind of place where camera placement can decide whether the video feels like a ride or a slideshow. Did one mount finally capture the turns without losing the scenery?

Recovered capacity is not a benefit until someone assigns it. I would name the destination before automating: supplier development, exception prevention, or demand planning, then check whether the hours moved there. Otherwise work returns to reporting. Which use has actually held after rollout?

A prompt can express policy; it cannot enforce it. For an agent that can send, buy, delete, or publish, the boundary has to sit outside the model: scoped credentials, allowlists, budgets, action receipts, and a clear stop path. Which control fails most often in the cases you reviewed?

Useful benchmark. I would separate AI adoption from decision authority: where is AI recommending, where is it ranking candidates, and where can it act without review? The same label can hide very different effects on who advances into leadership.

The most important part for me here isn't the absence of mass layoffs. It's the retraining. You can roll out a tool quickly, but access alone doesn't change a role, a decision, or who is responsible. I would measure which recurring decisions people actually make differently after training.

I see the same thing in a real project. After a long autonomous run, tests may be green while extra branches, stale files and a more complex architecture remain, yet the agent says it is done. Between stages I check tests, diff, branches, stale files and the original goal.

Least privilege matters, but it still isn't the stopping point. The last real boundary is before the MCP server invokes the handler. If the system logs only after execution, you don't have control anymore. You have a neat record of what happened.
