It used to be normal in the US, theaters had "cry rooms" that had a little sound proof room with a window. if the baby was crying the parent would take the baby there to calm down, maybe nurse, and still be able to see the movie. We're hostile to babies in public now tho

I'm curious because, the bit we see, he wasn't holding his daughter. She was standing on that ledge and she fell backward. He caught her. Probably REALLY should not have been standing on that ledge tho.
