That person on the internet who exists for whatever reason.
You can always try the ISOs without installing if you are just want to just demo it. (Wont save anything if you power off)

If drives weren't expencive, id recommend installing it on a second drive without touching your windows drive.

Yeaaaah. People here are not exactly friendly to the tech that enshitified the internet...

That said: PDN on WINE - I cannot possible express my gratitude enough for even attempting. Dead serious, I don't think a day has gone by where I haven't thought "This would be so much easier with Paint.Net"

My yearbook quote was:
"I will be as harsh as truth and as uncompromising as justice. On this subject, I do not wish to think, or speak, or write with moderation. I am in earnest. I will not equivocate, I will not excuse, I will not retreat a single inch, and I will be heard.

It still fits :P

I dunno why but I constantly have the 'Skyrim Cycle'
"Huh... I kinda wanna do X in Skyrim."
Install it, install some common mods.
Play for 5 minutes.
"Ehh I don't really feel like playing Skyrim anymore."
Uninstall it.

Repeat in 10-12 months.

Heheh yep! I will never forget getting called down to the principle's office, "So do you like to play games?"
I was supposed to be banned from the school computers, but the next year I took a programing class, and I guess never could prove it was me.
heh

The Jaguar's controller's problems were that is was a 3 button
controller, it was creeky, and the buttons all felt cheap.
All fixed with the "pro controller" apparently.

The few games I own, the numberpad is hardly used. Except Iron Solider which it worked... weirdly well with.

Yep. People forget, banner ads like this were the norm.
And this was one of the more tame ones! Since it only makes sounds when you mouse over it.

I remember having to refresh the page if the banner ad was one that just randomly made sounds.
"Hellooooooo!" "Say Something!"

It was also designing levels with the camera in mind.
Tight indoor areas were notorious bad.

Like using the GIF as an example: Some games would zoom into the player, then out as you walk past the tree, others the tree would block your vision.
You'd be expected to do platforming while these happen.

You know, going forward to the PS2/XB/GCN, a common issue was games having a bad camera.
Not RE fixed camera angles. I'm talking 3rd person action games that randomly decided to have platforming section INDOORS.

Please someone argue the merit of cameras that freak out while you do precision jumps.

Their grip cases often have the issue were the rubber and plastic separate after a few months of use.
Went through 3 cases on my phone. - I at least give them credit they always did replace it.

Is this the origin story of Stormy, before he worked at the Sealab?

I was wondering "why 512 that feels low for a gaming PC"
But then I went to Costco and saw a Dell Desktop with 512GB for $700
Microsoft also recently lowered the baseline RAM of Win11 to 8GB.

Something tells me consumer PC manufacturers are getting desperate to get the price down.

Reminder, the last time this guy won:
Computer hard drives & memory, were measured in Megabytes
Cheers was still airing new episodes for it's 11th final season.
Home Alone 2 was going to be in theaters in a few days.
Whitney Houston's rendition of "I Will Always Love You" released 1 day prior.

I'd say any of the YuGiOh! games. - People know Forbidden Memories, but man. The Tag Force games are pure grind fests in both good and the absolute worst ways.
