One of my favorite theories about the afterlife is that when we die, we just kind of slide into another dimension and merge with that dimension's version of ourselves (who did not die) and carry on without knowing that we've died.

It makes me so sad to see people use Ai to write instead of, you know, writing their own reddit posts about BTS not submitting to the Grammys. If you are a human having human thoughts and human emotions about a human situation, use your own human words. I promise they're good enough.

So, a year and a half after my hysterectomy and the biggest downside has been that my pain tolerance has gone to shit. Other than that, though? 10/10 best thing I've ever done for my quality of life.

My daughter's partner died.
It was sudden and tragic, and circumstances surrounding his passing have added immeasurably to the trauma she's suffering.
He was only 22.

Today I told my Alexa "Thank you" and it said "you're welcome" and I did not like that at all, actually.
