That's a technical question beyond my expertise, I'm afraid. I can say that as someone who re-watches those shows, the on-air demos were often quite choppy when it came to some of the displays.

Much as I love Linux on the desktop, I don't think I'd ever trust it on an embedded or dedicated system given the potential for update hiccups.

Confusingly, EA also released "Deluxe Music Construction Set" in 1986, a different program from Harvey's original. And EA then developed a separate IIgs port of "Deluxe" that was never released.

I need to dig it up, but Adam Osborne himself mentioned there were all sorts of RF problems with the built-in CRTs on the Osborne-1. My guess is these were machines destined for Europe, since that's where Osbornes were actually selling pretty well, at least according to the bankruptcy filings.
