In the past week, I have randomly found myself talking to: 1) someone who just lost their housing; 2) an elderly woman barely eking by; and 3) a person struggling without mental healthcare.

Unfortunately, I’m fresh out of empathy for politicians who used their power to make others’ lives worse.

This cartoon isn't an exaggeration—not even 1% an exaggeration.

Weeks ago it seemed this far-right Supreme Court would still block any map intentionally authored to be racist.

We just learned that that's no longer true.

We have reentered Jim Crow, and it's a national disgrace.

Much of the discussion about Delaney Hall focuses on the protests

But please, concentrate on the deplorable conditions faced by immigrants-including toddlers-there

Rancid food
Inhumane conditions

Paid for by US because Trump gave a huge contract to this private contractor

#ShutDownDelaneyHall
Sen. Andy Kim: "It's a choice. Delaney Hall is run by GEO Group. GEO Group is getting a nearly $1 billion contract to run Delaney Hall. They tell me there is one full-time doctor for 800 detainees. They could have more doctors if they wanted to, but that's cutting into their profits."

Voter suppression is treason. It is treason in a government based on the will of the people. Period.

I’m a broken record, but it’s facially insane that the SCOTUS’s position is that the interest of a political party—an entity with no special constitutional protection—in gerrymandering is more important than black people’s right to vote, which we have several constitutional amendments addressing

Wow. This NYC pop up is 🔥

The Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein Memorial Reading Room is open as a public installation displaying all 3.5 million pages of the released and partially redacted Epstein files, printed and bound into 3,437 volumes.

This shouldn’t just stay in NYC. Take it on the road.

I'm a reader for this very reason: it's where you can gauge how Trump's mind is deteroriating. FWIW, it's a TERRIBLE site, so clogged with cheesy advertising it's very hard to read even if it's literally your job to do so. No one is there for fun.

People ask why I’m optimistic with how bad things are and it’s the miraculousness of human nature

Common people have been toppling authoritarians for centuries. People who have no idea what’s going on are instinctively preparing for crisis and growing softer and kinder as revolutionary energy grows

I want someone whose policies I agree with, but I have a feeling I’d be very compelled by any Democratic presidential candidate who confidently says aloud what the plan is - to reform SCOTUS, to abolish ICE and prosecute the criminals, to assure fair congressional representation, etc.

Truth
Failure to have a necessary peaceful but powerful revolution in the USA will only ultimately bring about a violent revolution in the USA that resembles France in 1789-1795.

One man put us in this deadly quagmire. One man is wrecking our economy. One man’s immigration agents have terrorized our communities. One man has ridden roughshod over our system of government.

We said "No Kings" 250 years ago. Congress must say "No Kings" today.

If not, they must be replaced.

Just as t think. If Kamala Harris was president right now, Obamacare, Medicare, Medicaid, wouldn't have been cut, we wouldn't be paying a billion dollars a day on the sham war. And our young men and women wouldn't be on the verge of being unalived in a senseless war for the profits of defense
