I work on a lot of personal projects and games.
I was curious about making some cloud shadows move across the map, so I made a procedural shader and attached the cookie to a directional light. Could be refined to make the shadows look even better, but even as is, it'll add a nice movement to a scene. #unity #gamedev #indiedev

Been chugging along doing a lot of 3D modeling and weight painting. For some thing different, a small tool I made for the game was this fence tool that allows me to make fences on the fly with Unity's spline. Really basic, but pretty helpful. #unity #gamedev #indiedev

Was looking through my photos and forgot about this one I took some years ago during the sunset as I looked over the lake. A very peaceful evening. #photography

Trying to greybox levels in Unity is a somewhat frustrating experience because they lack a lot of tools to help with it. Probuilder is extremely clunky to use, so I created my own path generator using splines to help with level layout. #unity #gamedev #indiedev

I stayed at an Airbnb that had this section of the wall with a clock that looked really nice, even though the clock wasn't working and had an incorrect number on it. I'm going to make a 3D render of this photo. It has a nice minimalist feel to it. #photography

Testing a subtle ripple effect as you're walking neck deep through water. Doing the shader effect for this was interesting to learn and was simper than I expected. #unity #gamedev #indiedev

Experimenting with an idea of a procedural maze that constantly changes as you explore. The person running inside won't notice the changes overtly, but they'll never know the game is secretly guiding them. #unity #gamedev #indiedev

Testing out an idea with some grid walls for greyboxing before I put in actual textures and models. This pixel effect is pretty cool, reminds me of old DOS games with the dither effect. #unity #gamedev

The tree in front of my condo has blossomed. It seems to sprout later and later every year. #photography

It's always neat to see the rigging and animation in Blender before putting everything in and watching the final product in-game. #blender #unity #gamedev

Game jam submitted with full audio and refined opening. I don't think the game will do that well as it seems like people aren't too interested in it. I had a lot of fun making the cutscenes and composing the music though. #gamedev #unity #blender

I'm pretty happy with how this came out. Quickly made this in half a day as an opening for the game jam project. I also made a cool ending cinematic as well when you beat it. I really enjoy making these, makes everything feel high quality. #blender #unity #gamedev

I've been busy with a bunch of projects, one of them an impromptu game jam. I modeled a cute robot buddy using some references for the game. Just need to rig it up and add some animations for the game. #blender #gamedev

I miss the food in Japan. The tonkatsu we had in this small restaurant was very delicious and incredibly filling. It was a nice way to end the night. #japan #photography #food

I got my new portable studio last week and finally got around to testing it. The color balance is definitely nicer than the previous version that I had and much more spacious. I used a Miku figure I have for testing. #photography #miku

Been working on a custom tool for Unity to auto generate attack data from a flow chart, which works pretty well. The graph tools in Unity is really lacking though. They really need to have some official library that's usable. #gamedev #unity

There's a bird in Antarctica that tries to the steal the penguin eggs. I don't know if this one succeeded while I was there. #photography #travel #antarctica

Been playing through Endfield and I really liked the title screen. It's a very simple effect, but it works well. I threw together some assets and made a quick recreation of it in Unity. #unity #hololive #inART

I've been periodically going through some backup recovery as I never fully restored my corrupted drives. In the meanwhile, I want to go back to see the wisteria in Japan. It's amazing how they cultivated it to spread out so much. #photography #travel #japan

Quick Unity sprite shader tip I just learned: You can separate the sprite color tint from the shader if it's messing up your effect by checking "Disable Color Tint," but Vertex Color still retains the tint, so you can mix and match effects as needed. #unity

Really random, but I just felt like making an animation of CC kicking the default cube away. #blender #hololive

I played around with drivers and custom properties and I made a dynamic animation. Now the takodachi has some wiggly feet that I can adjust in one place and everything updates. #blender #hololive

I feel like this type of game has been made already, but I had a thought about making a pikmin game, but takodachi themed. Borrowed some code for the base and using assets I had already, I made a quick proof of concept. #gamedev #hololive
