The Mets play the Yankees at 1:30p ET today (9/12/26) on YES as well as SNY. The WPIX game last night was just a rebroadcast of the YES network so having the Mets booth as an option is great news no matter who you're rooting for. Holy cow is that YES team annoying. And before you say I'm bias I know

Yesterday the Mets lost to the Yankees 4-6. McLean worked 5IP allowing 10H 5R/ER 1BB & gave up 2HR-- a rarity given in his 1.5 yrs in the MBL he hasn't surrendered 1HR. Perfection isn't possibly though & that's a very good streak. I'm not going to freak out over it. Case in point: Miz (who many

The Mets helped out w/a food insecurity program earlier in the day yesterday. More & more people are encouraging (much like MLK Jr. Day) to use 9/11 as a national day of volunteer service to commemorate those who have died. Honestly it's a great idea IMHO. But also-- we should do more of it PERIOD.

Yesterday the Brewers & Rays both clinched their respective divisions locking in a postseason spot. Though the Brews have never gotten to a WS in the last decade, they have been in PS 8x's. So yeah. Still impressive.

In more sensible pitcher news... it's McLean vs Rodon tonight so it could be a pitchers' duel... it could be a duel to find a pitch... it could be dueling pitchers trying to find a way out... oh the drama. 7p ET on WPIX to tune in.

Per SNY Chris Devenski optioned to AAA & Jack Weisenburger called up for tonight's Mets game against the Yankees. Why? IDK. I just post stuff on BlueSky. 🤷😂

Earlier this week the Mets sent an entourage of former & current players to firehouses in NYC to commemorate the 9/11 attacks as well as thank all the 1st responders for their continued service to the city.

The Mets have off today. Thank God. I need a day to rest too. This is crazy. B-A-N-A-N-A-S as one Gwen Stefani once said.

Tomorrow (9/11/26) the Mets take the field against the NY Yankees in a clearly planned NYC night to remember those we lost in the 9/11 attacks. It's a hard day for many & as

IDK how to describe last night's 15-14 Mets W over the Marlins besides messy, insane & power hitting gone mad all at once. Pitcher's game? Not even close. 29 Rs, 35 Hs & 49 OB. Yeah. Lots of hitting, scoring & not too good DEF whether you're talking pitching or fielding. A mess. A few things stood

We'll start w/Brett Baty who exited the Mets-Marlins game in the 3rd inning citing knee pain. It looks like it's minor though & more of a fatigue thing. He's expected back on field soon-- maybe by mid-next week if all goes well.

To bring up Myers over the weekend, the Mets had to option Yan down to AAA where hopefully he can further refine his control. Likewise Hagenman was option to AAA as well to clear the way for Tong.

I had seen an article from a normally reliable source say that Polanco (whose on the IL) was DFA'd but

Last night the Miz thew his 1000th pitch of 100+ MPH... all in the same season. No one... I repeat... NO ONE has ever done that. The Athletic noted the feat that continues to point towards eventually TJ surgery or worse but yeah... pretty nuts either way. Smoke 'em if you got 'em as they. 🤷

The Mets take on the Marlins in the last game of a 3 game series at 6:30p ET tonight (9/9/26) on SNY. Stock will SP as he tries to put up some good back to back SP rotation action to move his ship in the right direction. He will be pitching against Junk. Yes the Fish SP is Janson Junk. Cue the memes

The Mets beat the Marlins last night (9/8/26) 7-5 taking 2 of 3 games so far in the series. Manaea struggled after 4 solid IP in the 5th as he continues to have issue come the 3rd time around the batting order. Ronnie Darling noted that the real issue w/his stuff isn't good v bad. It's good BUT he

The post season eliminations have started w/so far the Rockies & Giants (courtesy of the Mets might I add... the spoiling begins) in the NL along w/the Angels in the AL being mathematically unable to make it into post season given their W/L record as of this morning.

This all sets the stage for game 2 of the 3 game Mets/Marlins series that continues at 6:40p ET tonight. It's on SNY & Manaea (who has struggled his last 2 outings) continues to look for his Zen among the chaos that has been his very up/down all around season. LFGM!

That brings us to last night's game where the Mets started a 3 game series against the Marlins w/a 9-4 W. The Marlins are a .500 team sitting in the middle of the NL East. Normally its the Fish that spoil NY's Wild Card hopes-- so turn about is indeed fair play here. The big story was a very good

The Mets have been a bit of a roller coaster ride lately & I mean that in the nicest possible way. It has been (dare I say it) a thrilling few weeks. After taking 2 out of 3 from the 1st place AL East Rays, NY moved onto a 3 game series with the Giants. They took 2 out of 3 there. Their 6-10 W on

ICYMI-- Army West Point Black Knights football had a brilliant season opener against Bryant winning 59-3 this past Saturday (9/5/26). It was never even close & poor Bryant was totally overpowered on both sides of the ball.

NYM prospect Tong continues to do well in AAA. With only a few weeks left it looks like he's going to only get a couple of starts at most but noted in the article by Tong himself "Development is not linear unfortunately. Sometimes things just take a little bit to click.” Truth.

The Mets are off today & will start a homestand 3 game series against the SF Giants on Friday (9/4/26) w/a game time of 7p ET. The game will be on WPIX. McLean is set to SP & he's had a slowly but surely dipping ERA over the last few starts despite not having all his stuff working for him. So it

The Mets won 10-4 over the Rays last night on a familiar plan-- bring up a new guy who's doing good in AAA. That guy was Morabito who finally got to show up after a few here & there roster starts in the MLB. In 2 AB he got 2H 3RBI 0BB 0HR & he made a very clutch catch in the OF. Soto was also

The Mets play the last game of a 3 game series against the Rays. Hagenman will SP. He's normally a relief pitcher. Any port in a storm? Apparently. The (if you dare watch) is on SNY at 6:30p ET.

Manaea's late season arc of excellence has officially reached peak ~2 weeks ago & is now coming down-- quickly. In a 2-6 Mets loss to the Rays he put in 5.2IP giving up 11H 5R/ER 1BB 2K 1HR. Warren bailed him out in the 6th. Ross put in zero for 1IP & then Yan gave up another 2H 1R/ER 0BB 2K 0HR.
