The "outdated acquisition process". Lots of paid/failed contracts. www.msn.com/en-us/money/...

I think there's a chance Military Contractors and the representatives they lobby are laundering our tax dollars through these contracts. 🤷

"oh, you need us to build these NOW? For THIS WAR? That's going to cost extra." Look at the bidders for military contracts. What, exactly, does the contract pay for? How specific are the expense reports? The war is a money laundering scheme. What's the profit margin on our weapons?

Why did the Navy spend $33,000 per Garmin handheld sonar unit? An overly specific custom drop proof case with mount. Gold plating is still happening. Military contracts are fluffed as much as possible. Look at the contracts for military equipment. Look at the surcharge for rapid development.

Hey @crockett.house.gov ! Remember the $400 Hammer Scandal? The Price Fighters didn't work. The expense skimming switched to military contracts. No itemized expense reports to spot the $435 Hammers on. They switched from overcharging for individual parts to overcharging for whole contracts.

Demand full delivery before payment? Military contracts don't work like that. Money gets appropriated, payments begin, Company starts research and development. If we're lucky, they deliver something. If we're fortunate, that something will work. The war is a money laundering scheme.

You offer to pay me $200 to maintain your landscaping.
I tell the kid down the street I'll give him $20 to mow "my" lawn.
I pocket the difference.
You notice all I did was pay a kid to mow and left everything else undone. You praise it as a worthy project expense, and recommend hiring me again.

They usually keep the money if it fails. Or if we need to say "oh, crap. Nevermind." Nope. Bare minimum they usually keep the portion of the payment that has already been made. Definitely don't look up how many failed, paid-for contracts we've had.

Pine Hill is going to our Council Meetings to tell our leadership we want Trump OUT of his "Philadelphia" golf course! We're launching the project with a protest Saturday, January 31st!
