Brutal news about Glen Hansard. Every once in a while I'll rewatch this opening scene to Once, which is obviously of a time, but is still awfully beautiful. Watched this at a little movie theatre and had no idea what it was about and was just blown away by the electricity of it. RIP.

Brutal news about Glen Hansard. Every once in a while I'll rewatch this opening scene to Once, which is obviously of a time, but is still awfully beautiful. Watched this at a little movie theatre and had no idea what it was about and was just blown away by the electricity of it. RIP.
I guess I have to stop calling him LeYawn Lames now that he's going to be a Sixer.

it speaks to the criminal nature of Trump 2.0 that nobody close to him is ever actually fired because it's too risky for them to be fully on the outside. Instead, they get reassigned to cushy fake jobs to keep them onside.

This is where I grew up. I never took Lake Michigan for granted! Driving by, even as idiot teenagers, we’d gawk at it.

It’s weird to be brushing your teeth at night, reflecting on your day, and suddenly flash back to one of your 1991 protest chants that you hadn’t thought about in decades: “1-2-3-4 we don’t want your oil war.” 🤔

I was on two SEPTA buses today and both times a random dude talked to the driver about how the Sixers might do in the playoffs and both conversations were on the positive side. 👍

I feel kind of cheated that I cross-country skied from about ages 5-18, to go along with my dad's hobby, but it never involved stopping to shoot little targets.
