Lazy approach is to frame a slow motion shot that shows your screen and input device. When input is received (used), something on screen needs to immediately change. Then you just count the number of frames between you smashing the input and the screen changing.

It would be OS dependent, display dependent, AND input device dependent (i.e. any input device that does a debounce would technically be slightly lagged). Generally speaking you can roughly test this with a high speed camera or high-speed capture mode on your cellphone.

It's multi-faceted. I care that people feel an event or a result is fair. Regardless of the objections to how a model is trained, people who don't use AI don't want to be compared against people that do (except when it makes them look good).

Not to mention many people use AI in place of search engines these days. 🤷
